Winner, IPI News Innovation Challenge
Feowl is an open-source platform that provides the citizens of Douala, Cameroon, with reliable data about the electricity supply. Using SMSs and instant messaging, it collects data that is then checked and visualized.
AlertePolitique
In partnership with Rue89.com
Using over 6 million data points released as open data by the French government, AlertePolitique is a mobile app that gives users the results for all elections since 2001 in the city they are in. Get it on Google Play and on iTunes.

In a project led by @mirkolorenz, @jplusplus_ designed the prototype of this open-source datavisualization tool and takes part in the development of the next version. Datawrapper makes simple, correct and visually attractive charts in seconds.
